SQLfX® (SQL for XML)
Solves All Current SQL Native XML Integration Problems and
Transparently Extends Hierarchical Processing and Accuracy
to Your Currently In-Place SQL Processor and Data

Natural SQL Hierarchical Processing

SQLfX®
is the first ANSI SQL standard general purpose generic multipath hierarchical processor of its kind. In addition, it naturally operates on solid hierarchical principles missing from SQL/XML products today. This significantly advances XML database processing today and fundamentally changes the way XML is processed, overturning conventional thinking by leveraging unutilized inherent hierarchal processing in standard SQL. It was developed by Advanced Data Access Technologies, Inc. which is now making its SQLfX® breakthrough SQL/XML beta product available for online interactive testing.

Navigationless Hierarchical Processing

SQLfX®’s
revolutionary ANSI SQL hierarchical processing technology has enabled the use of evolutionary nonlinear multipath navigationless hierarchical processing. This is the next logical step for supporting the real-time full hierarchical integration of native XML data for database use.  Navigationless (schema-free) XML database processing breaks free of the limitations imposed by processing XML's semistructured markup.

XML structured database data does not need to be navigationally accessed allowing it to be processed truly nonprocedurally and transparently by non technical users. It also opens XML query processing to the entire hierarchical structure in a single query greatly increasing XML processing capability. But probably the most important new capability is that since the processing is performed automatically, the results are always hierarchically correct and optimally optimized.

Hierarchical Virtual Structure Usage

SQLfX® utilizes its advanced ANSI SQL hierarchical processing enabling capability to materialize, query and operate transparently on the entire virtual hierarchical unified SQL/XML view. This is performed hierarchically from input through processing to structured XML output. It is performed truly nonprocedurally without requiring any hierarchical user navigation making its interactive capability very easy and powerful, and extending this advanced use to non technical users. This is critical for Web 2.0 and Enterprise 2.0 technologies and capabilities.

New High Level of Hierarchical Processing

SQLfX® technology is unique in that it naturally raises ANSI SQL processing to a full multipath nonlinear hierarchical processing level to enable truly transparent integration of native XML. The XML and relational data are naturally processed automatically and internally throughout SQL at a high hierarchical processing level. This enables advanced conceptual hierarchical operations performed naturally using standard ANSI SQL. This also allows queries that were not previously procedurally practical to be specified nonprocedurally. In addition, powerful hierarchical optimization is utilized to dynamically eliminate unnecessary data access and limit relational data explosions.

These capabilities naturally solve all the SQL native XML integration outstanding problems and supports very powerful nonlinear multipath queries automatically. This powerful nonlinear hierarchical processing eliminates current linear single path processing limitations. This multipath processing is performed using full multipath natural hierarchical semantics that increases the value of data and assures that results remain meaningful and intuitive. These new capabilities are powered by user friendly ANSI SQL requiring no knowledge of XML, hierarchical processing, or the structure's hierarchy being processed. This is true internal and external transparent XML integration.

SQLfX® supports these advanced new SQL/XML capabilities:

Our novel ANSI SQL driven middleware SQLfX

® product naturally enables the customer’s already in place SQL processor to automatically and dynamically perform XML hierarchical integration with all the capabilities mentioned above and below.

1) ANSI SQL standard, uses no nonstandard SQL or functions
2) Ease of use, it is nonprocedural, navigationless with no XML centric syntax
3) Hierarchically correct results, uses only principled hierarchical processing
4) Greater efficiency with powerful semantic hierarchical optimization
5) Fully interactive operation with XML and its full hierarchical processing
6) Powerful  any-to-any nonprocedural full nonlinear structure reshaping
7) Conceptual hierarchical processing, can join nonlinear structures for mashups
8) SQL queries operate across the virtual heterogeneous hierarchical structure
9) Retains full ad hoc interactive query capability for Enterprise 2.0 operation
A) Allows multipath processing increasing data value with meaningful results
B) Enables powerful intuitive multipath XML processing by non technical users
C) Global hierarchical view support with no overhead (driven by SELECT List)
D) Global hierarchical query support with multipath hierarchical filtering
E) Automatic XML output with result aggregation (meaningful Selected data)
F) Meaningful XML Keyword Search (hierarchical structure proximity)
G) Focused Retrieval with Meaningful Data collection and aggregation
H) Many controls for dynamic & variable hierarchical structure generation
I ) Natural support for distributed hierarchical data processing

Conclusion

These inherent hierarchical processing capabilities are being overlooked by your SQL processor today. SQLfX® recognizes, exploits, and leverages this powerful hierarchical processing in your SQL processor using its patented technology to transparently support XML at hierarchical processing levels not thought possible. These are possible because hierarchical processing is a valid subset of relational processing. This includes utilizing the following discoveries and findings derived from our research listed below.

Our first product will support interactive query display. This capability is needed today and is missing from the structured XML market today and is needed for aiding XML development and for decision support which is supported by our powerful value-added multpath support.

SQLfX® is supported by utilizing our discoveries and findings:

1) Making SQL operate hierarchically solving relational/XML data integration
2) How and why ANSI SQL can perform full multipath hierarchical processing
3) Supporting powerful semantic hierarchical data processing optimization
4) Mapping SQL operations naturally and intuitively to hierarchical operations
5) Extending hierarchical modeling by linking to lower structure below its root
6) Manipulating relational rowsets to perform correct hierarchical transforms
7) Treating XML database data differently than markup for correct operation
