Navigationless Hierarchical Processing
SQLfX®’s revolutionary ANSI SQL hierarchical processing technology has enabled the use of evolutionary nonlinear multipath navigationless hierarchical processing. This is the next logical step for supporting the real-time full hierarchical integration of native XML data for database use. Navigationless (schema-free) XML database processing breaks free of the limitations imposed by processing XML's semistructured markup.
XML structured database data does not need to be navigationally accessed allowing it to be processed truly nonprocedurally and transparently by non technical users. It also opens XML query processing to the entire hierarchical structure in a single query greatly increasing XML processing capability. But probably the most important new capability is that since the processing is performed automatically, the results are always hierarchically correct and optimally optimized.
